Retractable Stadium Roof

LOCATION: Atlanta, Ga. (2013-2017)

CLIENT: Atlanta Falcons

Hoberman joined HOK Architects (formerly 360 Architects) and Buro Happold Engineering for an invited competition to design the new Atlanta Falcons stadium. Focusing on the retractable roof, Hoberman helped to conceive and realize the unique 8-petal design and built a motorized scale model of the stadium which was demonstrated at the winning presentation. Hoberman remained involved with the project throughout the completion of schematic design.
